Los Menendez Lima
Laura & Alejandro Menendez might have one of the most adorable relationships I've ever seen and I'm so happy I got the opportunity to share a bit of their beautiful story.
You can definitely sense their love is pure and full of admiration and respect for eachother. Isabella the newest addition to the family just turned nine days old when then we took these portraits, I immediately fell in love with her.
The best part of shooting this story for me was witnessing their love for eachother and their new journey as awesome parents... and of course hanging out with Gaston their boston terrier.
When did you and meet Alejandro?
We met in 2005 and since have been together as we will be forever <3
When did you get married?
We dated for 7 years before getting married and tied the knot on Febuary 28th 2014.
When did you know you were ready to be Parents?
After living in Spain together for a year we knew that our next adventure would be to be Parents. Everything happened so fast, when I least expected it I found out I was pregnant. I always wanted my first baby to be a girl…and to be honest we actually never thought of a name for a boy…And the only name we had on our list was Isabella! She’s always been there waiting for us <3 <3 <3

What advice would you give expecting moms?
Always follow your instinct when it comes to being pregnant. People will give you a million opinions of what you should and shouldn’t do as a parent. Honestly, the best advice you can give yourself is the one that feels right - the one you give yourself and feels natural. Also, try not to drive your partner crazy since they are and will be your biggest supporters.
When and where was Isabella born?
Isabella was born on June 25th 2015 at 12:53am in Hospital Ginecológico in El Salvador, San Salvador and weighed 6.5 lbs and 49cm high.
How was your pregnancy?
Isabella was a very active baby in the womb, I could always feel here. All in all my pregnancy was very peaceful.
What are your feelings now that you have become parents?
We are extremely emotional. I can't count how many times I've cried in the past few days, just out of nowhere. The love we feel for our baby girl is something we will never be able to describe with words. Thank you Isabella for teaching us so many new things in so few days.
